About Therapy
Our nervous systems are wired for connection, safety, and regulation—therapy can help restore those rhythms, gently making space for steadiness again when things have felt overwhelming.
Individual Counseling
Trauma, grief, and loss can create a complex emotional landscape that leaves us feeling stuck or overwhelmed. Healing is possible, and with time and support, it is possible to experience greater freedom, clarity, and peace. I have received formal training and supervision in Internal Family Systems (IFS), a widely used approach for addressing trauma, grief, addiction, and PTSD. I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a gentle but powerful therapy that helps the brain reprocess and heal from painful memories.
I also work with individuals struggling with pornography addiction, sexual addiction, or unwanted sexual behaviors. My approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and nonjudgmental. Together, we can explore the underlying experiences and emotions connected to these patterns and work toward meaningful healing, growth, and freedom.
Couples Counseling
Relationships are a beautiful gift. At the same time, they can also be one of the places where we experience the most pain and misunderstanding. Couples often come to counseling navigating challenges such as recurring conflict, communication struggles, life transitions, sexual concerns, or the pain of broken trust following infidelity. Past trauma, life transitions, and early family experiences often shape the ways we show up in our closest relationships.
Every relationship has the potential for growth, healing, and deeper understanding. I offer a warm and supportive environment where couples can slow down, explore their relational patterns and strengths, and begin to understand one another in new ways. My hope is to create a space where both partners feel heard, respected, and supported as we work toward repair, reconnection, and a stronger foundation for your relationship.
